Americas Toweris located at 1177 6th Avenue at West 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan and was completed in 1992. This building was designed by Swanke Hayden Connell Architects and stands 692 feet tall with 50 floors. The Americas’ construction was halted in 1989 for a little over a year due to a funding controversy, but resumed in 1991.
