Carbide & Carbon Building

is located at 230 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago, IL. It was completed in 1929. This building was designed by Burnham Brothers, sons of city planner Daniel H. Burnham and stands 503 feet tall with 37 floors. A 381-room Hard Rock Hotel now fills the newly renovated 40 floors.. This pewter replica stands 5-5/8 inches tall and is finished in black with green translucent and gold highlights.
