Chanin Buildingis located at 122 East 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan and was completed in 1929. This building was designed by Sloan & Robertson and stands 680 feet tall with 56 floors. The Chanin was built as a tribute to Offices of Irwin S. Chanin, a major New York developer of the 1920s and was the 3rd tallest building in the world when completed. This pewter replica stands 7-1/4 inches tall and is finished in new copper.
