Hess's Department Storewas located at 9th & Hamilton Sts. in Allentown PA. The store was founded in 1897. This building was was made up of many smaller buildings, the Art Deco facade was installed by the founders son, Max Hess Jr. The beloved downtown icon was demolished in 1996. This pewter replica measures 2.75 x 3 inches wide and is 1.5 inches high, finished in new pewter.
