is located at 1700 Main Street in Dallas, Texas and was completed in 1943. This building was designed by Walter
W. Ahlschlager and Donald Nelson and stands 523 feet tall with 31 floors. This Mercantile Bank is noted as being
the only major American office building completed during World War II and including its spire was the tallest
building west of the Mississippi River until 1954. This pewter replica stands 5-3/4” tall at 1” = 100 feet. Shown
