The Gherkin30 St. Mary Axe (also known as “The Gherkin”) is located in the center of the financial district in London, England and was completed in 2003. This building was designed by Foster and Partners and stands 590 feet tall with 41 floors. This high tech wonder features windows that automatically open and close augmenting the air conditioning system. This pewter replica stands 6 inches (158 mm) tall and is finished in blue translucent with black highlights.
