The Tribune Tower is located at 435 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois and was completed in 1925. This building was designed by Hood & Howells Architects and stands 463 feet tall with 34 floors. Studded in the base of the Tribune is a collection of famous and historical stones found all over the world, including pieces from the moon, Taj Mahal and 1 stone from all 50 states. This design won in an international competition started in 1923 for the world’s most beautiful office building. This pewter replica stands 5” tall at 1” = 100 feet. This model is finished in antique pewter.
