The Sherry-Netherland Hotel is located at 781 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and was completed in 1927. This building was designed by Schultze & Weaver, Buchman & Kahn Architects and stands 560’ feet tall with 40 floors. During construction a fire broke out above the 32nd story scaffolding causing a major blaze, but the Sherry survived and became the world’s tallest apartment building in its opening . This pewter replica stands 4-1/8” tall at 1” = 150 feet. Shown in new pewter.
