555 California Streetis located at 555 California Street in San Francisco, California and was completed in 1969. This building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Wurster, Bernardi & Emmons Architects and stands 779 feet tall with 52 floors. 555 California was once San Francisco’s tallest skyscraper, but was surpassed by the Transamerica Pyramid. The building entrance was used in the filming of “The Towering Inferno,” starring Steve McQueen and Paul Newman. This pewter replica stands 5.6” tall at 1” = 150 feet. This model is finished in dark bronze.
