Renaissance Center 150
The Renaissance Center is located in Detroit, MI and was completed in 1977. This building was designed by John Portman and Skidmore, Owings & Merril and stands 727 feet tall with 70 floors. The RenCen is the tallest building in Michigan and the world headquarters of General Motors. This pewter replica stands 5-1/4 inches tall and is finished in new pewter with blue highlights. This model's scale is 1 inch = 150 feet.

Great replica, true to the original ... nicely assembled ... I was fearful one of the towers would be slightly off-center and drive me nuts ... but nope, perfect.

Every building is a must-have in my opinion, but definitely this one simply due to it's cultural significance now. Sort of becoming the poster child for the financial meltdown, similarly to how images of the WTC conjure up memories, the Renaissance Center I am sure will do the same of the financial meltdown.
