This thing is BIG!

To echo what Tim Stout, you don't fully appreciate how large this building is until you see the replica side-by-side other 1"=150'-scale buildings. It is big boned! Built in 1974 as a standard Late Modern glass slab (with a golden hue), it was the tallest building in Dallas until the Bank of America Plaza in 1985. To refresh the building and keep it from falling further, the owners commissioned Skidmore, Owings and Merrill to design a major exterior renovation that gave it post-modern elements: They refaced the entire building using different colored glass to reveal the structural double-x pattern (previously only visible at night when lights formed an X); the base was redone in granite; a decorative broadcast center was added on top the building—the 3-level stepped back penthouse is surrounded by a decorative steel framework with towers that added 176 ft. The renovation also added the glass-pyramid structure at the plaza level, which houses a 2-story underground food court and cafeteria and connects to other buildings via the Dallas Pedestrian Network. As of 2023, the building is mostly empty and is planned for partial conversion into apartments—with large floor plates are, it will be a challenge to bring light into any residences (though there was a good example of how it could be done with NYC's similarly bulky 180 Water Street, the NYT had a good article on it). The current design reminds me of One Boston Place (1970), by Pietro Belluschi and Emery Roth & Sons, but not as well-executed.

We received the Renaissance tower a little over a week ago. I had to let you know it is absolutely beautiful!!!. OMG, I love it my daughter wont let it out of her sight. The details are so exact. literally an exact replica. We are born and raised in Dallas so we see the tower on our commute daily

This is a great model and though I now live with a view to downtown Dallas, it's not clear how big the dimensions of this building are until you see it to scale with your other 1-150 buildings. Great job!
