Chanin Building 100
New York's Chanin Building is located at 122 East 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan and was completed in 1929. This building was designed by Sloan & Robertson and stands 649 feet tall with 56 floors. The Chanin was built as a tribute to Offices of Irwin S. Chanin, a major New York developer of the 1920s and was the 3rd tallest building in the world when completed. This pewter replica stands 7-1/4 inches tall and is finished in new copper.

This is another beautiful classic bldg replica! I'm amazed that they could build such wonderful bldgs back in the 1920's and 1930's (all built without the technology and engineering we now have). This replica is perfect!
Beautiful

This kitty-corner neighbor of the Chrysler Bldg. is full of setbacks and vertical rises to eke out every usable cubic foot of space. It's related to the Majestic and Century apartment buildings on Central Park West
